Savannakhet, Laos II
Tom Arne Hanslien
printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Pearl
A scene from the streets of Savannakhet in Laos. I really enjoyed the laid back tranquil atmosphere of Savannakhet. We'd arrived from a very touristic Vang Vieng and Vientiane and welcomed this peaceful town a bit off the beaten track with limited amount of interference of tourists. Also admired the French colonial architecture which is very prevalent here. Much of this architecture was in a state of disrepair but it was good to see they had started to renovate and preserve this historic architecture.
