Lush mounds in Transylvania
Tom Arne Hanslien
printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Pearl
This landscape photograph is from the meadows surrounding the Saxon village of Apold in Transylvania - it's from a recent cycle trip with Global Heritage Fund UK to Romania. The route, accommodation and board was arranged by a company called The Slow Cyclist - it was an experience of a lifetime. This image is from the arrival on our first day of the trip and the evening sun were bathing the landscape in a lovely golden light.
