Dunggon Samten Choling Gompa Prayer Wheel
Tom Arne Hanslien
printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Pearl
When visiting the Dunggon Samten Choling Gompa monastery in Ghum, while staying in Darjeeling in India back in December 2012, I saw thie large prayer wheel as I entered the main shrine. The soft light from the windows created a very calming atmosphere. This view created the feeling of tranquillity and serenity. After capturing this view I kind of forgot about this view until very recently I got reminded of this moment in time while looking through the archives, and I quickly prepared the image so I can share this memory and experience with the world.
